About me

I am an accredited and registered psychotherapist (PACFA/GANZ) with an undergraduate degree in political, economic and social sciences (USYD), postgraduate training in Psychology and a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy (GTB) where I completed a literature review on the commodification of connection and digitisation of dating.

I have over 5 years of experience supporting couples, individuals, families, and teens in my work as a therapist, as well as in my background in education, supporting teens with learning difficulties and emotional well-being.

My personal journey through separation with young children and the complex challenges that this presents has been instrumental in fuelling my passion for supporting families, relationships and individuals of all shapes and sizes. I am an advocate for peaceful co-parenting, cooperative separation, and am child-focussed in my approach.

What clients are saying

  • "Freya’s welcoming and calm presence during our sessions always felt like I was talking with a friend rather than a therapist. Freya has the perfect balance of deep thoughtful listening with a reassuring amount of her own personal validation through sharing her relevant and relatable experiences that made me feel comfortable to open up more and go deeper within our sessions. Overall I always felt safe and cared for"
