Hi, I’m Freya

I am an accredited counsellor, Gestalt psychotherapist, educator, and mother of three. With a background in supporting neurodivergent teens in educational settings, my approach is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, warm, and sensitive.

My work is influenced by my own lived experience of grief, loss, relationship breakdown, and the slow rebuilding of a more authentic and peaceful life.

I hold a deep belief that our relationships, with others and with ourselves, sit at the centre of our wellbeing and shape how we experience life.

Life happens to all of us, it’s how we support our inner strength to navigate it that matters.

Through self-awareness and self-discovery, we can find a way back to ourselves in order to lead a more authentic life that feels both peaceful and true.

You are the expert on you, my role is to support you in knowing yourself more fully so that meaningful and sustainable change becomes possible.

I have Masters training in Gestalt therapy, postgraduate Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences.

I practice in person at Thrive Clinic (Mullumbimby), Coastal Therapies (Cabarita) and online via Zoom.
