Couples Therapy & Relationship Support

āThe quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationshipsā - Esther Perel
Relationships are central to our wellbeing. When they're healthy, supportive, and honest, the rest of life tends to flow too. We're wired for connection, and yet so often our closest relationships become the very source of hurt.
My work with both individuals and couples has shown me the profound impact a supportive relationship can have on both partners, as well as the pain that comes when our most important connections feel stuck.
Most couples don't come to therapy because their relationship is broken. They come because something between them has gone quiet, or the same argument keeps happening, or they can feel themselves drifting and don't quite know how to find their way back.
In my work with couples I draw on two approaches that I think complement each other beautifully. The Gottman Method brings decades of relationship research into the room - practical, grounded tools for understanding conflict, rebuilding friendship, and creating the kind of connection that actually lasts. Gestalt therapy brings the relational and somatic depth - slowing things down, noticing what's happening between you in real time, creating enough safety for both people to be honest and feel heard and held.
Whether you're here to repair something, break free from old patterns, or simply grow closer, the work meets you where you are.
I see clients at Thrive Clinic in Mullumbimby, Coastal Therapies in Cabarita as well as online via zoom.
