A woman with brown hair sits at a wooden table, smiling and resting her chin on her hand. In front of her are books, an open notebook, a pen, a white mug, and a vase with yellow sunflowers. The background shows a modern kitchen with white cabinets, a black stove, and a brown wooden cabinet.

Couples Therapy

If you’re looking for a couples therapist in the Northern Rivers, I offer relationship and couples therapy from my practices in Mullumbimby and Cabarita, as well as online couples therapy across NSW and Australia.

I work with couples who want to understand their patterns, repair disconnection, and build a more secure, honest relationship, especially when things feel stuck, tense, or emotionally unsafe.

My work is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in Gestalt psychotherapy.

Rather than focusing on blame or “fixing” one partner, couples therapy focuses on:

  • understanding what is happening between you

  • slowing down reactive patterns

  • increasing emotional safety and clarity

  • learning how to stay present during difficult conversations

Couples often describe the work as practical, honest, and deeply clarifying, especially when past attempts at talking things through have gone nowhere.
